Questions teachers ask

Can I use Heapso for the Curriculum for Wales?
Yes. Choose Wales in Settings and plan by Area of Learning and Experience. Plans link to the statements of what matters you pick, and the year selector shows the progression step each year usually works towards.
What are progression steps?
The Curriculum for Wales describes progression through five steps, which broadly correspond to expectations at ages 5, 8, 11, 14 and 16. Learners progress at their own pace.
Does Heapso include the descriptions of learning?
No. The descriptions of learning are published on Hwb, whose terms don't allow reuse, so we link to them instead. We show the statements of what matters from the statutory Code, which the Welsh Government publishes under the Open Government Licence.
