What it does
Pick a year level from 4 to 13 and up to 10 focuses, in your own words. Choose a level (Developing, Standard or Exceeding) and the question types: multiple choice, short answer, extended answer and show your working. Before questions are saved, Heapso checks each one can be answered from what it says and works out number answers in code.
Students join at heapso.com/assess with your class code or a QR code, pick their name and type the PIN you give them. Multiple choice and simple short answers are marked straight away. Written answers and working are marked by AI, each with a short reason, and marks Pip is unsure of are flagged. You accept or change any mark, and your mark is what counts.
Mastery builds up for each student and each focus, with 75% counting as mastered. The class grid shows common mistakes for each question, and one click gives each student a gap assessment on only the focuses they haven't mastered yet.
